Beam Bug III
Position the BEAM BUG III on the workpiece by placing the beam rail over the beam cutter. Powerful permanent magnets and beam clamps hold this rail in place. Beam rails allow you to make miter cuts on bodies and, when positioned, on flanges. The carriage has a push-button clutch and locks onto the beam rail. It can be easily removed for transport and/or storage. A single speed control adjusts both vertical and horizontal travel speeds. An on/off switch selects the direction of travel. Positive rack and pinion drive systems with infinitely variable speed control ensure precise cutting speeds. Limit switches prevent vertical (flange rail) over-travel. A fast-responding manifold controls the throttles, eliminating repetitive welding torch adjustments. Double ball bearing wheels ensure stability and precision. The welding torch holder and torch rotate to the correct position, and positioning pins adjust the tilt angles. The BEAM BUG III features a welding torch with two 254 mm (10 inch) hoses and three cutting tips. (Please specify fuel type and voltage when ordering.)
